NetEthics Bibliography

NetEthics

This annotated bibliography, developed through the NSF-funded NetEthics project, offers a curated selection of resources on ethics and responsible conduct of research (RCR) within complex engineering research networks. Spanning publications from 2000 to 2023, it addresses a critical gap in ethics literature at the “meso” level—where interdisciplinary teams collaborate across institutions. Drawing from law, engineering, organizational psychology, team science, and more, the bibliography provides guidance for ethically navigating collaborative scientific work. Prepared by Claire Colby, JD Candidate at the University of Minnesota Law School, in partnership with the NetEthics Principal Investigators, it reflects extensive expert input and review.
