Cells and Organoids – Including rapidly advancing regenerative medicine and cell therapy systems such as CAR-T cells, which currently lack reliable cryopreservation methods.
Organs – From zebrafish to pigs, including gene-edited organs for xenotransplantation.
Organisms – Extending to model systems for healthcare, aquaculture, agricultural products, synthetic foods, and the preservation of genetic material from endangered species.
These testbeds provide real-world platforms to validate advances from all three Integrated Thrust Areas, ensuring that innovations are robust, scalable, and applicable across biological scales.
