ATP-Bio implements its convergent vision through structured research programs designed to address the core scientific and translational challenges of cryopreservation. Each program brings together interdisciplinary teams to accelerate discovery, integration, and deployment.

Our research is organized along two complementary and intersecting approaches:

Integrated Thrust Areas (ITA)

• ITA1 Bioengineering – preparing the samples for cryopreservation
• ITA2 Cryothermal Engineering – understanding and controlling the cooling, storage and rewarming steps that biological are submitted to
• ITA3 Cryo-supply Chain Management – exploring the key elements to translate our technologies for global off-the-shelf availability
