ATP-Bio Awarded ASME 2025 Edward Grood Medal

ATP-Bio has been selected to received ASME’s

2025 Edward Grood Interdisciplinary Team Science Medal in Bioengineering

“for innovative approaches in biopreservation technologies that stop biological time and radically extending the ability to bank and transport cells, embryos, tissue, organoids, organs, and organisms”.

ATP-Bio has been awarded the prestigious ASME Edward Grood Interdisciplinary Team Science Medal in Bioengineering for 2025. This award recognizes exceptional achievements in collaborative research that advances bioengineering innovation.

Under the leadership of John Bischof (ATP-Bio Center Director) and Mehmet Toner (ATP-Bio Center Deputy Director), ATP-Bio is pioneering biopreservation technologies that are transforming organ and tissue preservation. This recognition highlights the critical role of engineering solutions in addressing some of medicine's most pressing challenges.

This honor underscores the impact of engineering solutions in transforming healthcare and advancing interdisciplinary research.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ATP-BIO TEAM!
