This first joint webinar between the Society for Cryobiology and ATP-Bio will focus on how cryopreservation can play a major role in the global challenge of food scarcity around the world.
The speakers will present some current examples of state-of-the-art cryopreservation technologies around all three sources of food: Manuela Nagel (Germany, SfC) on plant-based products, Matthew Powell-Palm (US, SfC/ATP-Bio) on animal-based products, and Leo Lou (US, ATP-Bio) on synthetic foods, which represent a growing market.
