SUMMARY:We are excited to announce our 2026 Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) - APPLY NOW
DESCRIPTION:The NSF ATP-Bio REU is a 10-week research internship targeting STEM students nationwide\, including community college students\, who have not participated in prior research. Students will spend their summer doing exciting\, cutting-edge research to help “stop biological time” and radically extend the ability to bank and transport cells\, aquatic embryos\, tissue\, skin\, whole organs\, microphysiological systems (“organs-on-a-chip”)\, and even whole organisms through a team approach to build advanced biopreservation technologies. \nATP-Bio REU students will work at the University of Minnesota\, Massachusetts General Hospital\, the University of California-Riverside\, or Texas A&M University. DESCRIPTION:April 20-22\, 2026 \nThe 25th Anniversary of the Design of Medical Devices Conference will be held April 20-22\, 2026 at McNamara Alumni Center on the Twin Cities Campus of the University of Minnesota. \nThis three-day event will feature leaders from academia\, industry\, healthcare and government who will present new insights and updates on emerging medical technologies\, provide training and expert perspectives on entrepreneurship and regulatory topics\, and share funding opportunities. We are excited to host special sessions led by experts from industry and academia\, as well as on topics spanning wearable medtech\, big data in healthcare\, pediatric devices\, robotic surgery\, cardio and neural technologies\, and more.
